Hello and welcome! My name is Carissa Vascimini. I am a NJ based Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am also the owner/ founder of Renewal Counseling & Wellness.

Over the past 10 years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups in settings ranging from residential treatment to private practice. Most of my experience has been in the private practice setting providing therapy to adolescents, adults and couples.

I am passionate about helping and encouraging clients to find their voice, assisting them with a better understanding of themselves and their feelings. I am passionate about ensuring clients feel heard, understood and supported while processing their stories and their relationships.

At Renewal Counseling & Wellness, I strive to ensure a safe and comfortable space for you to work through and cope with past, present and future life challenges. In this non-judgmental space, I am dedicated to helping you on your journey of “renewal” which is about healing, change and growth. Therapy is a journey and it can be a rewarding experience.
